Chambers strikes; BYU 14, UNLV 7 at 1:34 of first quarter

A lot of folks have been waiting all season to see freshman Oneil Chambers make some plays — and score.

That came to fruition right before the end of the first quarter when the Cougars took their second possession right down the field on the Rebel defense.

After a holding penalty on an Austin Collie 15-yard reverse run, Max Hall set Chambers up on the left end and threw a high fade route to the freshman.

Guarded by UNLV corner Quinton Pointer, Chambers superior size came in handy in the end zone as he easily separated and reached up and hauled in the pass as he turned around and faced Hall.

Chamber is officially in the books as a scorer.
