Wednesday practice report

BYU’s secondary finished a little shuffle and dance by today’s mid-week practice.

David Tafuna finished another practice day after missing the trip to CSU. Andrew Rich got a third day of reps as the boundary corner in place of the injured Scott Johnson. Teo and Pendelton were the backup safeties and Brandon Bradley returned to the field and took reps behind Rich. Steve Thomas was the other corner with the second unit.

David Nixon and Kellen Fowler had nice interceptions off the scout team pretending to be San Diego State but Tucker Lamb got around Colby Clawson and a nice fake play that drew in the defense on the edge.

Harvey Unga, who missed practice on Tuesday due to a flu bug going around, returned for a full practice.

Work continues Thursday in a closed practice.
