Collie preparing for the NFL combine

Austin Collie has never been in as good a shape as he finds himself today, a week before he attends the NFL Combine, according to his father, Scott, who just visited him in Los Angeles.

Collie will attend the combine. There are conflicting reports on Internet sites whether he was invited or accepted. He has been invited and did accept, said Scott.

Collie has been undergoing rigorous training at a pre-draft camp in Los Angeles set up by the same agency that Ty Detmer had (Donald Yee). He has undergone rigorous workouts and has a goal of running a sub 4.5 forty at the combine. This is the agency that represents Tom Brady. At the workout camp are numerous coaches including former NFL staff members, giving Collie advice on how to prepare and perform at the next level.

“He is ready. He is more than ready,” said Scott. “His body has been transformed.”

Collie flies out to the combine next Thursday.
