Mendenhall says DB Logan will play against Oklahoma

There was some good news at Bronco Mendenhall’s news conference today.

“Brian Logan does have a broken finger but will play with a plastic cast. It is a non-surgical situation,” said Mendenhall.

“He had a similar injury in junior college and was able to play. Brian will be listed as the starter. Robbie Buckner has not been able to run at full speed and will be day-to-day. It is dead even with Brandon Bradley and Lee Aguirre at the boundary corner. The NCAA has not given word on Corby Eason.”

Mendenhall will announce a starter between Bradley and Aguirre on Wednesday.

Matt Reynolds is listed as “probably” for game day and has been practicing in a limited role.

“Our team is hungry and eager. We’ll find out who good we are when we play, how we measure and how we fit. I like our team and like the way we perform,” said Mendenhall.
