BYU's Gordon Hudson to get his Fiesta
Former All-America tight end Gordon Hudson will get his dues tonight before a national TV audience connected with the Fiesta Bowl when Boise State and TCU kickoff tonight on Fox TV.
Hudson will join the rest of the 2010 class inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. This group will be introduced and honored in pre-game activities tonight at the Fiesta Bowl.
The others include Pervis Atkins, a RB from New Mexico State; Tim Brown, WR, Notre Dame; Chuck Cecil, a DB from Arizona; Ed Dyas a RB from Auburn, Major Harris, a QB from West Virginia; William Lewis, OC from Harvard: Woodrow Lowe, a LB from Alabama’ Ken Margerum, WR,Stanford; Steve McMichael, DT, Texas; Chris Spielman, LB, Ohio State; Lary Station, LB, Iowa; Pat Willing, DE, Georgia Tech; Gino Torretta, QB, Miami; Curt Warner, RB, Penn State and Grant Wistrom, DE, Nebraska.
The pick?
I’ll take TCU by 10 points and won’t be surprised if it is two touchdowns. The Broncos are working in a new offensive tackle that struggled against Nevada. Jerry Hughes will eat him alive.
