Mendenhall offers scholarship to Davis sophomore

BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall offered a scholarship to Davis High sophomore Troy Hinds today, according to his father David Hinds.

Hinds is a 6-foot-5, 225 pound defensive end who has been clocked at 4.65 in the forty. He also holds an offer from Utah, accoring to Scout.com. He will be in he class of 2012.

As a 2009 sophomore for Davis, Hinds was 15th in tackles in 5A with 96 and had eight sacks. Named First Team All-Region.
